Cats Take Over the Internet: National Cat Day Approaches
October 29: A Day Dedicated to Our Feline Friends
Prepare your catnip and adoration: WEB National Cat Day is fast approaching on October 29th! Created by Colleen Paige, this special day aims to raise awareness about the overwhelming number of cats in need of loving homes.
Cats: Compact and Cozy Companions
Despite their independent nature, cats require surprisingly little space. They adore curling up in the smallest, coziest corners, making them ideal companions for pet parents with limited square footage.
North American Awareness Days
In the United States and Canada, National Cat Day is observed twice: in Canada on August 8th and in the US on October 29th. This awareness day encourages the public to consider adopting a feline friend.
International Recognition
Since 2020, International Cat Care has become the guardian of International Cat Day, celebrated on August 8th. However, don't confuse this with National Cat Day, a separate celebration.
